Day 1 of the 2024 World Waveski Surfing Titles on Saturday was an epic start to the pinnacle event on the World Waveski calendar. The contest kicked off with the Open Men’s trial and Open Women’s divisions in 3-4 ft swell on a beautiful sunny day in Buffalo City. The public supported the event in crowds migrating to Nahoon Reef to enjoy the festive food courts and activities hosted by the event partners, Vincent Park Shopping Centre, Thornwood Valley, Sama Sama, BWT H20 East London, Indish Kitchen, Coffix, and Surfbru catering to the competitors’ and supporters’ tastebuds and hydration needs.
