Who is CSA?
We are often asked who is CSA?
CSA is you, the paddler. Your club elects a committee and the club chair attends union meetings on your behalf.
In turn, the Union elects a committee from the club representatives and the Union Chair, represents their respective Union on the CSA Board.
Furthermore, an athlete rep, development rep, women’s rep and President is elected to complete the voting members of the Board.
The non-voting members comprises of employees and co-opted members.

Where does the money go?
Do you know the breakdown of your annual license fee? This table will help you understand the monies paid to your club, Union and CSA.
Once payment has been made, your club is responsible for the final release that allows your profile to show as ‘active’.
Where do the entry fees go?
Do you want to have a better understanding of your race entry fees – where they go to, how race organizers set the entry fee amounts?
This is the overall breakdown. Please do not forget that in the race organizers portion there are the event expenses eg. Safety, medical that need to be covered amongst other legislated requirements.
