Flurry of medals ends Team SA’s Masters charge
The South African team can hold their heads high following another successful outing to the ICF Canoe Marathon Masters World Cup in Brandenburg, Germany on Wednesday when they bagged a further seven medals to go with the five they scooped on the opening day of the marathon showpiece. Dusi’s Khwela hunts maiden K1 Fish Top 10 finish
As entries pour in for the ever-popular Hansa Fish River Canoe Marathon ahead of the looming normal entry deadline, some of the nation’s best paddlers – including the likes of 2014 Dusi winner, Sbonelo Khwela – have signed themselves up for the two-day Eastern Cape assignment from 7 to 8 October. South African Surfski Championships
It is still a number of months away but the organisers want to keep reminding people that the Pete Marlin Surfski Race will be the South African Surfski Championships for 2016. The race will happen over the weekend of 5-6 November. Take a look at their Facebook page here for more information.
South African K1 Championships
The Hansa Fish River Canoe Marathon plays host to the 2016 SA K1 Championships! Make sure that you get your entry in early for this one! It is one that no one wants to miss!! Entries will open on 1 August so stay tuned here to find out more.
Gauteng Canoe Union
The upcoming JCC Klip Race is going to double up as the Gauteng Trials for the SA K1 Champs at the Hansa Fish this year. The race takes place on Sunday 18 September starting at Buksies Resort starting at 08:00.
