The 35th Hansa Fish River Canoe Marathon is coming
Taking place three weeks after the 2016 ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships, the 35th edition of the Hansa Fish River Canoe Marathon is set to be an enthralling encounter as all of the country’s top paddlers go head-to-head for the race’s spoils and the 2016 SA K1 Marathon Championships crown. South African Surfski Championships
It is still a number of months away but the organisers want to keep reminding people that the Pete Marlin Surfski Race will be the South African Surfski Championships for 2016. The race will happen over the weekend of 5-6 November. Take a look at their Facebook page here for more information.
South African K1 Championships
The Hansa Fish River Canoe Marathon plays host to the 2016 SA K1 Championships! Make sure that you get your entry in early for this one! It is one that no one wants to miss!! Entries will open on 1 August so stay tuned here to find out more.
South African K3 Championships
The 2016 Breede River Canoe Marathon is going to be the SA K3 Champs for 2016. The race is coming up on 3-4 September and if you looking for more information then head to the website here.
Gauteng Canoe Union
Gauteng K2 Champs will be at the Watuni SAMC Klip – Makery to Dave’s Farm just past caravan park on Saturday 12 September, – Entry fee will be R100 for this race as it includes parking at Dave’s farm. Canoe Concepts – Gauteng Mixed Doubles Championships – Sunday 14 August 2016. Don’t forget to enter the Canoe Concepts mixed doubles race this coming Sunday. Start time is 9am Entry fee R90 senior R50 Junior Start at Mackery and finish at Caravan park.
KwaZulu-Natal Canoe Union
The McGregor Marathon Series continues after the opening round last week this Friday at Kingfisher Canoe Club starting at 17:15.
Western Cape Canoe Union
The Alfies to Robertson is the next race on the calendar. It takes place on 13 August and if you want to find out more about the event head to the WCCU website here.
Eastern Cape Canoe Union
The Border Canoe Club has got their Winter Series will be back on 6 August. If you want more information check out their website here.
