Wild Water Canoeing

Home Canoeing Wild Water Canoeing

Wild Water Canoeing

Wild Water is an extremely exciting discipline in which competitors race over a set distance in a time trial format (against the clock), down fast flowing rivers with large rapids.

The boats that are used have increased volume, no rudders and a small cockpit.

In past years, this discipline proved to be popular, with national teams representing the country abroad.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of fast flowing rivers near large metropolitan areas, the discipline has given way to other paddling disciplines that have the necessary facilities.

Currently, there is no wild water committee or activity.
