A quick and business like offering for this week.

Entries for the SA marathon championships and the ski race to be held on the Sunday after the marathon champs (which will double as a selection race for the SA ski team), are now open.

Unfortunately our new nomination system, that would have been incorporate through the entry process, is not yet complete, so we have resorted to the online system that has previously been used. Nomination forms are available through the discipline sections of the CSA website. If you wish to be considered for the national marathon or ocean racing teams, you will need to complete a nomination form.

By popular demand, the marathon committee have agreed to combine the senior and U23 age groups at this year's SA marathon championships. Both age groups will race the senior distance. An U23 who comes in the top 3 overall, will earn the senior medal, as well as the appropriate U23 medal.

The husband and wife duo of Andy and Nix Birkett will be jetting off to Ruse, in Bulgaria to compete in the ICF Marathon World Cup. They will be joined by fellow "slummie" Matthew Fenn.

Due to other work commitments, Bridgitte has resigned as the athlete's representative on the CSA board. We are in the process of selecting a replacement.
