10/09/2021gpmedia

Some of the country’s top river paddlers will be on the start line of the Standard Bank Liebenbergsvlei Canoe Marathon on day one of the race from Reitz to Zorgvlei Farm this weekend.

The race is a two day event however they have split the race into two with day one’s 33km doubling up as the national K1 championships as a number of top paddlers vie for the national crown while day two will be a K2 event and will serve as a qualifier for the upcoming Fish River Canoe Marathon.
