Trichards River
Paddlers in Gauteng look to have discovered a new gem of river in Trichard, one kilometer from Secunda.
Its the Trichard River and is fed regularly by water releases from The Department of Water Affairs to ensure a supply to the local power stations.
The river hosts the SASOL Dam-2-0Dam races every year in August and February.
