PE2EL Surfski Race

Entries (Entry submitted and PAID) by 31 May is R2000, thereafter R2500 to 30 September. Late Entries R3000

Race : Bluewater Bay, Port Elizabeth to Nahoon, East London, 244km over 4 days (one spare date)

Angus Warren of Border Canoe Club reports that its all systems go for the PE2EL Challenge which takes place from 4 December 2014. With 54 confirmed and paid up entries so far , race numbers are looking to exceed 80. Likely to be the biggest field in a number of years this bodes well for the toughest Surfski race, now in its 42nd year. Supported by NSRI, and generously sponsored by Fenn Kayaks, Thompson Trading, Batting Properties, Stihl, Mazars and Shell Stirling (EL), entries for the race close at the end of August. 2014 Dischem Automall PETE MARLIN Surfski Race

Diarise the date!  15 and 16 November.

The Border Canoe Club will once again host this great event and weekend of downwind surfski paddling in East London.

We are pleased to announce that once again, Automall, Dischem and Mazars have come to the party as sponsors.

This race is now part of the World Surfski Series which should add some “spice” to this years’ event.
